New Movie from 'Facing the Giants' Creators: 'Fireproof'


Barbara and I had a chance to attend part of the filming of this very exciting motion picture that will release this fall. So, I was very excited when Marc Harper with SermonCinema.com called me last Thursday to let me know that the Fireproof website would be live this weekend.

We at LifeWay will be providing sermons resources and well as a lot of promotion for this great movie which will bring to light many of the key issues men and women are dealing with in their marriages. In the meantime, become familiar with this new movie from the church staff at Sherwood Baptist Church, Directors Alex Kendrick and Stephen Kendrick and Executive Producers Michael Catt and Jim McBride.

I've just posted a new article by Bob Sheffield . In this article he says that when your church is resistant to change there are congregational, personal, cultural, as well as fear / faith issues that need to be examined and considered. In the article he offers a list of things to consider for each. He then offers five ways to deal with a church resistant to change: Properly assess the church’s attitude toward change. Honestly evaluate your own motivation in suggesting change. Practice good change agent principles . iGoogle Lets You Create a Free Home Page

I've been using the beta version of Google Home Page for months and it seems to get better and better. My favorite part of this public version of iGoogle is the ability to track my favorite bookmarks, rss feeds, search tools, weight loss tool, blog feeds, and a whole assortment of "gadgets." This is a screen shot of my iGoogle Home Page... I encourage you sign up for one of these free pages and begin playing with it. Once you add elements, play with dragging the elements around to different places on your screen. Then begin adding tabs to keep track of the blog feeds you follow, sermon search tools, news feeds, and other tools. Be sure to add the following feeds in the "add by URL" form.
